TREATMENT OF LOCAL ANESTHETIC TOXICITY
 

   1. Initially, the dental practitioner must administer basic 
       cardiac life support
   2. Assess and support airway, breathing, and circulation 
       (BCS)
   3. Supportive treatment may be indicated
   4. The airway should be opened
   5. Supplemental oxygen should be given.


For severe reactions, the patient should be transported to the local hospital emergency room as soon as possible
